Following on from the highly successful inaugural Bolesworth Castle Show Jumping Classic in 2008, we were delighted with the support we received this year - 2009.
Following another great year, we are pleased to announce that the dates for next year's Bolesworth Show Jumping Classic 2010 will be:
Thursday 15th - Sunday 18th July 2010.
Exciting developments for 2010 include the running of the first Bolesworth Castle Eventer's Grand Prix, which will be invitation only and will run on the Thursday afternoon of the show. A selection of the country s top event riders and showjumpers will be competing for a first prize of £3,000 providing a great spectacle for spectators.
We are planning to improve facilities for the sponsors in the VIP Hospitality Marquee and will be introducing a Sponsors Pavilion within the main arena itself for the use of sponsors during their allocated class. 2010 Sponsorship packs will be available for download shortly.
I would like to thank to express a huge thank you to all the owners, riders, sponsors and supporters who supported us last year.
My vision is to continue to build on the first two successful years, taking advantage of the beautiful setting of our family home, Bolesworth Castle, home to the Barbour family for 150 years, to provide a feast of equestrian entertainment and encompassing the European ethos, making showjumping more accessible and welcoming for equestrian and non-equestrian enthusiasts alike.
The Bolesworth Classic Team are working hard to make 2010 even better than last year. We have taken on board the constructive feedback received following last year's show and hope we will offer something for everyone.
